Since their return to Australia after 15 years of London-based international touring, Neal Peres Da Costa and Danny Yeadon are among the most active and sought after performers in Australia.
Whilst in London, Neal and Danny were central members of Florilegium, which Neal cofounded with the flautist Ashley Solomon in 1991, and which was one of the most exciting and innovative of all period instrument groups worldwide, making numerous recordings and performing to audiences globally.
Neal, born in Sydney, is a specialist in early keyboards and is currently a lecturer in musicology at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Danny, from the north of England, is an expert on baroque cello and viola da gamba.

String musicians for the Summer section of '4' were drawn from the East coast of Australia, mainly comprising colleagues and friends of Niki Vasilakis, at the close of their tertiary studies and embarking on their professional careers.
